William’s Way is an award winning family run local Estate Agent specialising in residential sales across Norfolk and Suffolk. The owner of William’s Way, Wil Barber, grew up in Drayton, Norwich going to schools locally and continues to live not far from the office. Having worked for a national estate agent, Wil noticed the need for a more transparent and honest customer service experience. Consequently he established William’s Way Estate Agents in April 2016 with his wife Lucy and Uncle Richard working alongside. We’re totally committed to bringing the best service to sellers and buyers across Norfolk & Suffolk. Wil Barber
Managing Director

I was raised in Drayton and still live locally today. I am husband to Lucy, Daddy to Wes, Freddie & Toby, nephew to Richard (branch manager)., and as a teenager I probably used to be your paperboy. I attended Drayton First, Drayton Middle, Taverham High, and THS/Hellesdon 6th Form. I graduated from BYU-Hawaii University with a B.A. in English Literature whilst on a Football Scholarship. After working for a National Estate Agency in Norwich I noticed a greater need for better customer service and started William’s Way with my wife and uncle. My hobbies include golf, football, cooking, property projects, photography and spending time with my family.

Lucy Barber
Director

I was raised in Beverley, Yorkshire. I’m wife to Wil and Mummy to Wes, Freddie & Toby. I went to Birmingham Conservatoire and graduated in Cello Performance. My hobbies include singing, dancing, hockey, music, eating chocolate and spending time with my family. On an evening you’ll find me watching a period drama or Strictly Come Dancing with a hot chocolate and a nice fire.

Richard Erwin
Branch Manager

I live locally in Old Costessey. My wife, Angela, and I have three daughters and six grandchildren. Our daughters went to Drayton First, Ghost Hill First, Drayton Middle and Taverham High School. I have functioned successfully in leadership for over 25 years in varying capacities, creating new ideas, pioneering processes, growing small companies to national brands. My hobbies are: family fun, football (NCFC fan) and community church service.

Emily is part of the family; luckily for her she’s Wil’s niece. Some fun facts are that she studied music up until 2022. Her favourite season is spring, she loves old movies, adores a good sunset and is a big country fan. Emily writes up the descriptions for our properties, handles our social media platforms and carries out a lot of our administrative tasks.
