What's the number one thing that makes a conveyancing experience more stressful?
Something that can be really stressful is that sometimes people like to impose timescales or deadlines. You might hear someone say that it only took them six weeks to sell, and that can set an unrealistic expectation for you. The reality is everyone is different. You could very well have a property that sells quickly, or you may not, but setting a deadline for yourself can just make the experience unnecessarily stressful.
We could compare it to flying on a plane. As soon as you land, everyone is desperate to get off, and you hear the little ping and everyone stands up and grabs their cases but in actuality, you aren’t getting off that plane any quicker. The door will open when it opens and you have to wait for it to be your turn to get off the plane.
