I’m having viewings on my property, but I’m finding the feedback quite upsetting.

We completely understand. Our homes are really emotional and personal to us. It’s somewhere that you've passed a lot of time, spent money on, made memories and felt emotions. So those feelings are totally normal. What we think might help is to remember that feedback is very subjective. Someone may feedback that the living room is too small for them, but to someone else, it's the exact opposite. It depends entirely on the person and their individual needs in a home.

Our advice is to try not to read too much into it. The only thing to be concerned about is if you are repeatedly receiving the same feedback. If you're getting lots of different feedback, that’s actually good, because it means that the property is just not right for those particular individuals. But if there's one piece of feedback that keeps reoccurring, it means that that is something that's stopping you from selling your property, and that’s something that you would definitely want to look to address if and when you have the chance.
